Abstract
According to the DOW Objective 5 of Emergent is to setup suitable business models for consulting services and product developments in the field of social media in emergencies. This objective will be achieved, if business models for both, consulting services and product developments are described by the involved SMEs in EmerGent (principally OCC and IES).
As planned (see T7.4) the project has resulted in a set of tools validated in field trials and a set of guidelines for the future adoption of social media in emergency procedures. Both results are part of the project exploitation plan that aims to identify possible commercial paths for the tools and the best strategies for improving emergency management systems and crisis management procedures.
